Re: Interest/suggestions for allergy shirts (ADDED PHOTOS), timeout mats,& apron/smoc
I can so see these. I can see something cute like
"I'm mommy's little peanut, but I don't eat them!" And on the back a big peanut with a circle and line through it. Or a "Wildlife Preserve" or "Nature Park" theme with a sign that says, "Don't feed me and pics of the allergy. Maybe on the front, "Please pass the soy" and on the back, "No Dairy" I really like this idea! And I don't think smocks/aprons need pockets.

I think it would be more practical if it was an allergy BIB. A shirt you can only wear once & it has be to washed and it probably costs more than a bib.
I could see having 2-3 bibs with the saying on it & always having one in my diaper bag just in case. Ya know? I'm special and so is my diet....please ask my parents before feeding me. That's the saying I'd love to have!

You are full of great ideas! I looked at your shop and those toddler belts are great! I have to put 2T jeans on DD to get the over the fluffy but and provide for her long legs, but the waist is always huge! (She's 9 months, 30 inches long, and 19 lbs -- my little amazon)
I'm no help on the bib/shirt ideas. I do think a bib is better than a shirt, though.

Maybe just a general but cute way to say don't feed me? My son lives on a liquid diet due to severe allergies to everything. But I know there are some situations where it's just easier for a parent to want their child fed nothing rather than rely on others to figure if a food is nut or dairy (or what ever they can't have) free.
He is 24 months but wears a size 4 or 5 so larger sizes would be great. ![]() stephanie, mom to 3 big girls (1/94, 8/99 & 9/02) & 1 little guy (12/30/09)

Thanks so much for all your help mamas!! You've given me a lot of help deciding where to go with these.
And thanks also, noranuks, for your sweet comments on my belts! My kiddos are similarly shaped and I use the belts on their pants all the time.

I love the allergy shirt ideas. We have many many allergies. Corn being the worst. We can't eat anything unless I make it from scratch from safe whole foods. I know there are others like this as well.
Maybe something like..."If mommy didn't make it, I can't eat it. I have food allergies" something superhero like would be fun...

Re: Interest/suggestions for allergy shirts (ADDED PHOTOS), timeout mats,& apron/smoc
I'm so sorry guys... I am REALLY struggling with getting my hands on the software I need at a reasonable price! Sigh. I love my designs as most of the other allergy-wear I've seen aren't "cute"... but this has been a big roadblock in the process. I can do the lettering, but not the animals.
On a positive note... I'm hoping to get the first of my reversible aprons done up in April!
