Does anybody have a link to the Washington state BF laws I can print? Preferably with the statute codes.

Also, the boys and I are going for a 5 week visit in Tacoma. Is it NIP friendly there? DS2 will have nothing to do with a cover 99% of the time. Will we have problems?

I know how to use capitalization and punctuation. Siri, however, fails

Not sure about Tacoma but I know Seattle is super NIP friendly. I never used a cover when I lived there and no one ever batted an eyelash. I would guess Tacoma is similar.

Where do you live? I don't have a link but I live near Portland, OR and it's very nip friendly. The PAC Nw tends to be pretty "crunchy" so I don't think you'll have any problems in WA. Tacoma is near Seattle so I think you will find it to be bf friendly. I think if you just exhibit an attitude of confidence then that will go a long way towards nip success. I usually just go about nursing (without a cover) and keep up conversations like its second nature. I don't look around at what others around me might be doing or to see if they are looking and might be uncomfortable. Those I'm with are okay with my nip so i don't bother to pay attention to the strangers around me. I won't see them again so I don't give a flip what they think. Good luck and have a great trip!

This! I had to EP, due to DS2 having feeding issues, and I actually got a LOT of really snide remarks, and dirty looks, because I WASN'T "nursing" I see people nurse toddlers in public all the time. Seriously, no one cares.

I hope that we get to nurse traditionally this go around! I did NIP with DS1 anywhere and everywhere, never with a cover, and I never had anyone do anything but smile sweetly at me.

I live just outside of Tacoma and I nip all the time! Anywhere you are allowed to be, you can nurse!!

Hopefully he'd be better prepared next time. Since D and B are so much alike it will surely happen again. I learned one thing.....UPS knows their alphabet. USPS does not.
