First time baby got sick

My twins were EBF until 17 months. They both had a little cold at about 15 months. Their first 'real' illness was at 20 months when they each caught (a different) virus. So, essentially while they were BF they did not get sick.

DD1 was sick quite a bit before she turned one, ebf till 12months.
DD2 has only been really sick once with the flu. Tested positive at 11months That was a rough 2 weeks.

DS got his first cold around 5 months, but he didn't get the flu until 16 months. And boy, was I ever glad we were still BF'ing because breastmilk was the only thing he could keep down! It was very sad to see my baby ill. :-(

Gosh I dread the first sickness sooo bad! I have serious anxiety about it and I don't know why, I mean I do know why but you know what I mean. Of course its inevitable but I am so not ready to see my sweetheart miserable
