Has it been on the soles of your feet and the palms of your hands? That's a good indication that you should mention it. Just be prepared for them to tell you its normal.

If you decide to push for testing, know that is takes about 5 days to come back, if they even order the right test. Check out www.itchymoms.com for info. There should even be a letter you can print out to give your doctor.

Well, the itching has gotten better. I barely scratched all day yesterday and I actually slept good last night. I thought it was gone for good! Until today...lol the itch is back with a vengeance. They are going to induce next Tuesday. My ob said she didn't want to induce before 39 weeks which is fine. That's not much longer! I am worried though because my body is not ready and I don't want a csection

Yes, its slowly been getting worse. It use to only be at night now its during the day as well and my hands have been getting swollen along with sevete itching and my feet get this fire feeling sensation like its getting tight and swollen. I called my doctor today and they suggested I go yo the hospital. Oh and no matter how much water I drink my urine is always super dsrk!

Go in and ask for a blood test. This sounds like what I had when I had my last baby. It could be Cholestasis of Pregnancy. I was induced at 37 wks due to this condition.

I went to the hospital today (doctor suggested I go) and cholestasis it is. They want to induce me between 37-38 weeks. Possibly earlier if my blood tests come out being really abnormal

I had this, I was induced at 37 weeks. Are they offering you a vitamin K shot?

No shot but they started me on a medication which I have to take 3 times a day
