Any one with a "wiggly" baby/toddler?
It seems a little strange, but my daughter (now 15 months old) can NOT sit still when nursing. Whether we're laying next to each other in bed or she's sitting in my lap. She attaches and then just starts wiggling around. My husband thought I was exaggerating until he saw her and wondered if I knew of any other children that did this. None of my friends have mentioned anything like this, so I was wondering if she is just a little stir-crazy (totally fine) or others had similar experiences.

It's normal. And annoying. Lol
I find that giving them a distraction helps settle them down. A nursing necklace or something like that.

Ah, nursing gymnastics
![]() When DS started doing that it drove me crazy. I only allowed him to nurse when he would sit pretty still and use nursing manners. It worked well. He's 2.5 and is very gentle and asks nicely to nurse, "Mia please, mama!"

Re: Any one with a "wiggly" baby/toddler?
Lol. That's hilarious at how common this is. Thanks for letting me know.
![]() She is definitely like what you all say, and she doesn't "hum" but she will make noises. And she giggles so much when she knows she is going to get some milk. I love that and will definitely miss it. How do you help them sit still (like in public so you aren't flashing the world)? Any suggestions? Right now I mostly feed her in our car when we are out since it's easier and more comfortable, but she gets distracted so much easier... Thanks again everyone.
