6 months down
My son is 6 months today! I've been struggling with my supply since he was 5 months and have been supplementing with formula. I am currently down to only night nursing and have been going back and forth on if I want to attempt to increase my supply or just let it go and enjoy this last bit of nursing. I love the bond that I have with my son but at the same time I kinda want my body back. I work full time Monday through Friday and have been working lots and lots of overtime too. My work provides me with a great place to pump but I only get limited time. I get 3 breaks a day, 25 minutes each time and of course my desk is in the furthest building from the pumping room. My son isn't liking my dwindling supply either cuz after a long day away from each other all he wants to do is nurse.
I am leaning towards trying to get my supply back but am unsure how committed I can be. What would u do? |

Pumping is hard to do when you have a full time job (or it was for me). If I could do it over I would have tried harder to keep pumping during the day and nursing at night. Your LO isn't only nursing more at night because you have a dwindling supply, he/she misses you! Even if you stopped nursing they may want more cuddles
it ultimately comes down to if your ready to stop or not. If it were me I'd keep pumping- any BM is good! GL!![]() Sent from my iPhone using DS Forum
