when i post a new thread with a question I want to keep an eye on it so i can get my answers, but i would like to browse while i wait. I can't figure out how to keep up with my new thread or even someone elses that I want to see responses to. as soon as I go a few pages beyond I loose it. so, I guess I'll just be sitting here until i get an answer. someone hurry, I am going to get board

at the top of the thread, there is a "thread tools" link. In that menu you can "subscribe to thread". Then to find the threads you are subscribed to, you go to "Quick links" on the menu bar and click "subscribed threads"

You can also find threads you've posted to by clicking your username, then statistics, then "find posts by this user"
