Phoenix Midwives?

Hi everyone. I just found out today that my husband is being transferred to Phoenix in eight weeks...which means I will be 31 weeks pregnant We were planning a homebirtth with a midwife here, but now I need to figure everything out again. Does anyone have a recommendation of a Midwife and/or a birthing center?
Thanks

I was only there for the Great Cloth Diaper change but I know there's a place called Midwives Rising near central Phoenix. The people atht GCDC seemed really nice. Obviously I have no personal experience though because DD was born in the hospital.

You're welcome! I don't know where in the valley you will be moving to, but I hope you enjoy it!

Re: Phoenix Midwives?

There are a lot of great midwives here. Freedom and the Seed is in Tempe (Wendy and Marianah), Jude Melton in Mesa and I'm sure there are others.

I was with Blossom Birth Center (Mary Langlois is the midwife) and LOVED LOVED LOVED them.

Just noticed this. I just moved to the east valley and while not pregnant had done some research for the future and appreciate the suggestion. I would love to know who you choose and how you like them.
