Re: Live Clean Baby diaper cream?
Thanks! We don't use cream everyday either.
But I need a cream that contains zinc oxide for daycare for occasional use. (Long story. Government regulated daycare and a stupid rule pretty much sums it up). I'm going to put a sticker on it that says to apply in a thin coat when needed. Advertisement

Re: Live Clean Baby diaper cream?
I love the live clean unpetroleum jelly- that is all we use. Also love their bath wash for kids. the diaper cream, in my opinion, is no different than any other zinc oxide cream and is not recommended at all by some pediatricians. My ped says that is the worse thing to put on rashes. And my son Rafi, any time i take out any zinc cream, he tells me that it burns. The only one i like for redness is the Aveeno

Re: Live Clean Baby diaper cream?
I tried the diaper cream and it left a residue on my CD. I had to strip them. I usually don't have diaper rash issues. I suggest using a flushable liner if you are going to use any creams.

Re: Live Clean Baby diaper cream?
I love the live clean too, but I read the ingredients and it has zinc in it, I thought that was the main ingredient in other non cloth safe creams?

Re: Live Clean Baby diaper cream?
Frankly, the zinc is why it works. I've found if I avoid fish oil and petroleum/petrolatum, it's fine. Non-zinc creams just can't do the job of a zinc cream.
I only use it every few weeks or months, but I've had zero issues. And I use MF and pockets, which are the most sensitive generally. I use just enough to cover a rash/problem area - very little. |
