Hey ladies!
I've been trying to find a playgroup close to me, but most of them end up being 30+ minutes away. I was hoping by chance that there were some mommies closer to me that would want to start a playgroup! Nothing formal, just getting together at the park, library, anywhere really. I'm a SAHM for now, although I'm looking for part time work, and we don't know many couples with kids in the area. DD is 15 months and LOVES to be around kids. Hi! I'd be up for a playgroup beginning in November. We're moving to Northern Virginia just as soon as we find a house. I have a 16 month old son who will need some socialization, not to mention my socialization needs! Let me know if you end up forming anything between now and then, and if not then maybe we can start something up.

we live close to Leesburg but my DS is almost 3 and DD is 2 months. I'm not sure how fun that would be for your DD but we can still try to go to the park if you'd like

I'd be interested in a playgroup if you are still looking. Unfortunately my schedule is tight. I work and have a 10 year old ds along with my 13 month Ds. I'd like to try to make something work though!

Hi, Tordreamer! I had forgotten about this thread! I'm still on the look-out, been PMing with some mamas from thebabywearer.com and trying to work something out. It looks like I'll probably go to storytime next tues at Rust library at 10:30. Who's with me?
