I have now officially been a full-time-at-home mom for a month. I love it, but boy do I feel underqualified!! Does that ever get better, or do you just get used to it?

No idea how to knit! *whew* Dodged that bullet!!
 Kind of sad that my last day pumping is Wednesday... but she self-weaned weeks ago (I think I was too much work for what little she was getting) and she's terrified of the pump, so only getting to do it a couple times a day has made my supply take a complete dump. I can say I tried my best for thirteen months, though, and I think it will be good for both of us for me to be done.

Today was DD1's due date. She would have been three, and no one in my family remembered. So grateful for my little one, but when I'm half-asleep I still think I see her big sister out of the corner of my eye and it breaks my heart all over again.
There are days honoring veterans, laborers, presidents, lovers... why isn't there a day where all the women of the world stand up and remember their lost children?
