Anyone use or give kid coconut oil or apple cider vinger for acid reflux?

we just put my dd 2.5 back on acid reflux meds..she had it really bad when she was a newborn..took her off at a year old with no signs of it till about 6 months ago she started getting night coughs really bad. My question is has anyone used coconut oil or ACV for their kiddos acid reflux?

Reflux can cause asthma. Coughing at night means you are most likely doing lung damage. You might google Cough Variant Asthma--those kids don't wheeze like a traditional asthmatic kid. It is what DS (3.5) has. I'd talk to your ped. What our pulminologist tells us is that you can't undo lung damage, so it is best to start out with the big guns, then wean away as you can.

We see a spec...she is on flovent/alvesco/albuterol...still coughs..so we took her off the alvesco and added AR meds..stopped coughing..im not convinced she has asthma...
