WAHM selling baby leg warmers online?

I've been thinking about starting an online business (with some minimal local in person selling) selling baby leg warmers, tights, etc. I googled while I was searching for somewhere to buy them for my DD2, and found a Chinese wholesaler that sells the things I'm wanting to sell. Do you think it's worth it? That people would want to buy them? I don't even know where to start!?

Idk. Seems like the WAHM ones are difficult to turn around.

I'm talking about selling ones like My Little Legs or something, or the Alva tights.

You are going to have a lot of competition from retail stores, online and offline. If they are the designs I'm thinking of, they are easy to get, either through alibaba or ebay or other Chinese wholesale websites. They are adorable, but beside the strike against you from the competition, they are also Chinese made, which definitely is not going to be a selling point to your target demographic (mostly CDing moms, although the babylegs seem to be going mainstream...)

I think you could do it, especially if you can either sell locally, to people who aren't familiar with the sites that already carry them, or if you can sell them alongside other desirable options that would induce people to buy the tights, and maybe a diaper, or some rash cream, or soaps, etc.

Unless, people don't want to wait for the turn around time from a co-op?

I just don't think it will be too profitable for numerous reasons, most of which have been addressed in the above posts.
