Any Nourishing Traditions/WAP mamas??
Just curious. I have questions and would just like to chat. I'm new to it and have only started substituting a few things here and there. I wish I could be all or nothing.

Re: Any Nourishing Traditions/WAP mamas??
I've been reading through Nourishing Traditions and have started to talk with some others who are introducing the concepts into their families. One thing I've been learning from them is that slow and steady is definitely the way to go! It's very difficult to change a family's eating patterns cold turkey (though it's been done!) I'd be happy to talk with you though I'm by no means an expert of any sort. I'm still learning myself.

Re: Any Nourishing Traditions/WAP mamas??
The only thing I've done so far is change all of our fats. We drink raw milk now and eat pastured chicken eggs. I've been drinking kombucha for years, so that's about all the fermented fruit/veggies I get at the moment. I have been soaking grains too. I want to do things with my milk, but I just seem to waste everything I make. Bummer!

I haven't gotten the hang of drinking kombucha yet. With the milk, just keep trying! A lady I met (she helped me get started with my grains and bread baking), it took her almost 2 years before she got the hang of working with milk!
