Need stuffing help for Turkey Dinner on Sunday!

I want to make THIS spicy sausage stuffing for the Thanksgiving Dinner at Church on Sunday.

In the recipe, you use the vegetables that have been cooking with the turkey, but I'm making the stuffing without the turkey... so.. thoughts on how I should prep the veggies for this stuffing without cooking a turkey?

Should I simmer in a skillet with chicken broth? Should I roast in the oven dry? Should I roast in the oven with a little broth? Thoughts?

I would roast them in the oven with some chicken broth. I think that would probably give you the closest result.

Do I just put them in a pan and pour some chicken stock in? Temperature and how long?
