The nurses teased me that maybe my dates were a month off.

They and we knew the dates were right, I just make fairly big babies. DS1 was 38 weeks, 8lb6oz.

I had a big preemie too! The NICU nurses kept saying "we never get babies this sick this BIG" lol He would probably have been over 10lbs had he been allowed to go full term.

Here's my little 36 weeker! 7lbs 2oz in NICU for 6 days

And here he was last week

I have my little premie as well. Born at 35 weeks 4 days. Weighing in at 8lbs 4 ounces!!! Had a 4 week stay in the nicu and came home 3 days before my due date. No my dates weren't off but I grow them big and fast.

Wow I can't believe all these late pretermers that had such trouble and long NICU stays. Makes me feel even more blessed my LO did so well. At 33 wks he had O2 for less then 1 hr, NG and IV tube for 48 hrs and only an 11 day stay. My hats off to you mama's that had a difficult time.
