DS2, now 3w, is going to have to start the long process of being diagnosed with, and hopefully find reason for, seizures. DS1 has them as well (very unique in appearance and DS2's are the same, so I know it's not just febrile seizures), but we could never find a definite cause. I dread reliving this journey. I hate everything DS2 will have to go through.

I'm also being a sad sack because they have different fathers, and I'm convinced it must be my genes. I feel like I broke my kids. And hate the idea I caused this for them. I know that's stupid, but you know how mama guilt is :/

Anyway, any positivity coming our way would be wonderful. Long, hard road ahead for us all. Thanks ladies.

ETA: Add to that, that my mom got her biopsy results back this evening. Her cancer is back. This is all just... crappy.

I'm praying for you. Seizures, no matter how big or small, are really scary. Had a kiddo with brain trauma from an accident that had numerous. I hope they find a reason and treatment for it.

I know you and I disagree on some things, but I wanted to say congratulations he looks adorable. I will pray for him, your mom all of you. Best of wishes and if you ever want to talk pm me. I have family & close friends that have epilepsy.

I'm so sorry you are going through all of this! I hope it isn't too rough on your DS. I have seizures also that they could find no cause for, so I know how frustrating that can be. Please don't be too hard on yourself (easier said that done, I know), you had no way of knowing that this would happen. I'm really sorry about your mom also!

Hugs, mama. We are currently on the same path with our two year old.

Will pray that your process will be smooth and that his seizures would stop.
