Teeth falling out really, really late?

Yep. I was 9 when I lost the first one. I was still losing teeth in college. It's darn embarrassing to lose a tooth in the middle of a large lecture hall :P

It was annoying but I'm well adjusted now I didn't believe in the tooth fairy by 9 and it simply isn't cool to have your two front teeth missing at 10.

I was like Steph Ed's children. A couple years before university my dentist gave up and pulled my last baby teeth out since the adult ones had been sitting there for years.
