I'm so glad this is an open topic now. When I had my first son, I was 19 years old and vastly informed on the topic. In my small town it was just "what you did". Everyone circumcised their boys. I was DEVASTATED when I saw what it did to my son. I went looking for him when he had been gone from my room for too long and got a peek through the window of him STRAPPED DOWN to a board. It was AWFUL. I am VERY enti-circ now and although my husband was hesitant to agree with me at first, he's not on board and we are not circumcising the son we are currently pregnant with. If you have ANY doubts, DON'T DO IT. It's something you can NEVER take back.

I would suggest going to thewholenetwork.org I think it is for information on all around stuff. I know I have a book that is slightly dated but it says circumcised may have higher risk of penial cancer than circumcised men when I read it. Not saying for or against a decision but I know my cousin's son got lots of infections not being circumcised and she was told. Many I know that had boys were told to pull foreskin back to clean as babies so they didn't get infections by pediatricians.

I had my oldest son at 18 and he was circd too. Like you, I changed my mind and my 2nd and 3rd sons are intact!
