Yeah, I won't throw them out unused or anything - they still end up in a landfill anyway, might as well get used first. I'll keep them for a while, see if I use them traveling or something. If not, I'll donate them or give them to my friend that has 3 in diapers.

Meh! Just ignore them. Do what YOU want with YOUR child. Plain and simple. Unless they are going to be there changing every single diaper for you they should just keep the flappers shut.

We got a little guff from my family for wanting to CD but after a while they get curious and try it on their kids. NOw my one aunt uses CDs at home.. the other it just wasnt for her. To each their own, and that's the fun part! Not everyone has to parent the same way

People love to give unsolicited parenting advice and tell you what you will and won't do. They generally have their head up their bum and you just have to ignore them. Sometimes I think it comes from their secret guilt because they know they are polluting the planet, depriving their kid of the benefits of breastfeeding, etc if they can get you to change then they don't have to feel bad about themselves.
