Prepping BGE's
I bought a bunch of BGE's during the Black Friday sales. The package says I need to prep by washing 5-7 times in hot (100 F) water. How important is the actual temperature of the water, and do I need to run a full (long) wash cycle?
My FL has a 25-minute "quick wash" that uses warm (95 F) water. Can I use that to cut down on time? Will that do the trick? Thanks! |

Re: Prepping BGE's
I washed mine on 3 white (hot) cycles and they are fine during the day with my heavy wetter (even nap). I'll wait a few more washes to use them at night.

If you want them at full absorbancy then do that. Me personally, I wash them once with towels then OTB they go. They take a few washes to get to max absorbancy but I'm not wasting that much water, time, effort or energy.
I've owned like 40 BGEs (I switch up my stash a lot) and this has always worked.
