You will get more dirt picked up if you lanolize the entire piece. That lanolin is so sticky! You could try turning the pants inside out and just dipping through the crotch in the water and leaving the legs out, if you can't find any spray lanolin.

She's going to look gorgeous in the tie dye skirted longies I ordered on Cyber Monday! Of course I may be afraid to use them...

I am happy to avoid the lanolin bath altogether if spray will work
