Chubby baby leg chafe
I just found a chafed area behind my baby's knee. It's red and shiny. I cleaned it out and rubbed diaper rash cream on it, but as I was doing so it felt really full and swollen. Like the tissue under the skin is swollen and making the skin taut. The fat under the other knee is tender and soft, but the back of the chafed knee is hard and bulbous. Is that normal for chafing?
