That's it? I had a recipe for bananas foster once that called for dark rum and it came out funny, I assumed because my rum wasn't dark enough lol. Maybe I just did it wrong. Just kidding, I never do anything wrong, it was totally the rum.

Myers Dark Rum. I think that's what they want you to use but I do not like dark rum. So I use Captain Morgan. It's a darker spiced rum.

I like to use appleton estates dark rum for drinking. I'm sure it would work in a recipe.
