Does the mothers ease airflow cover come in newborn sizes? That is a snapping Cover.

I just had a look and it does come in newborn size (6-12lbs).

I had to deal with oversupply issues causing reflux in one of my daughters. I had to resort to pumping off some of the foremilk and nursing on only one side per feeding to make sure she got more hind milk. Restricting yourself to just one breast per feeding may help with the tummy upset and bowel blowouts caused by too much foremilk. hth and good luck!

I appreciate the advice but unfortunately the solution just hasn't been that simple for me. I have heard and read all of the usual advice for oversupply but I seem to have an extreme case. I will be working with a breastfeeding specialist (a doctor who deals exclusively with breastfeeding, not a lactation consultant) before and after baby is born this time in order to try and manage the issue. Oversupply has caused me and my babies a lot of pain and suffering and I really hope to resolve the issue quickly this time!

I had an oversupply issue for awhile from bad advice from a lactation consultant & it was so frustrating & painful & made the baby choke.

I live in Edmonton, AB, Canada. "Specialist" might not be an accurate term, but it is a doctor who runs a breastfeeding clinic and deals exclusively with breastfeeding concerns. A much more knowledgeable resource than the lactation consultants and doctors I have seen previously, most of whom were less than helpful.

This sounds great. I have had this problem too and most conventional advice on websites doesn't help. I live in a small town with no LLL, so I just have this frustrating stage where baby is choking the whole feeding, and we end up with a big mess. Good luck!

Thanks! I was actually sick (in bed) for 2 months with recurrent Mastitis (due to oversupply) and had to hire a nanny with my last baby. I, obviously, do not want to go through that again!

DS1 was a huge heavy wetter and the only thing that worked with him was Bamboo or hemp. I really love Softbums omni AI2 OS shell it is wider and contains mess very well, very trim and it also has an optional pocket for added absorbtion. I would recommend their OS bamboo pods and then I would get some fleece liners to top them to create a staydry layer. Thats what we did and it was great!

That raises another question... if bamboo and hemp are supposed to be more absorbent than cotton, why would the GMD 100% cotton fitted be better than a hemp or bamboo?
