Advice on back pain relief? This is horrible!

I think I did something to my back picking up my son today, but my middle/upper back is KILLING me. It seems to be getting worse and radiating all throughout my back and is starting to give me a neck-ache as well. I'm sure its not pregnancy related because I'm only 10w6d, but I could use some safe advice on how to relieve this. I have kind of a weak back because I'm tall and have a very long torso. When I was pregnant with my son I had horrible back pain early on in the third trimester, and I went for massages and tried hot water bottles but never had full relief. So any advice I get now will help for later on as well. How early can you see a chiropractor? What else would you suggest?
