Nuk/nuky = soother
Piggy Wiggy = DD's pig lovey
Decker = DS's name is Dexter but to DD (and us, now!) He is Decker.
I Laloo = I love you. This is my fav <3 We say it to everyone in this house.
Nugiss = music
Omie Omie = oatmeal. This is another staple name in our house!
Ninny = Finlay, our dog. She now responds equally well to both names, hehe.

The difference is SO minimal, and only DH, daycare, and I can tell the difference :-)

The problem is that we think most of DD's mispronunciations are hilarious, so we repeat them & then they become a thing.

Everything's got double syllables for us now:

mak mak = milk
hi hi = phone
dog dog, duck duck, bus bus (etc etc).

My favourite one is from one of her toys. Someone got her some electronic book thing that sings "the three little kittens have lost their mittens", and it ends with "the kittens have found their midgets!". Like, it blatantly says midgets, clear as a bell. So that's what we call mittens and gloves now. "Josh! Have you seen my midgets?"
