Please recommend a convertible for a pick up truck

That was actually the day that I started reading manuals and really trying to learn about car seats because I didn't want my son[s safety compromised based on misinformation from someone at the store (which is previously what I had relied on).

I think many first time parents ask for help in baby stores & expect them to know what they are talking about. I find it scary that there is so much misinformation about the carseats and how to use them. That is such a safety issue that those employees really need to know what they are talking about. I'm glad you had enough smarts in your brain to realize the nautilus just wasn't working properly when you rf it. I'm worried about the people that just don't know better and would use it like that all because someone said you could.

I know what you mean! My sil's seats are installed so loosely that she never would have known that it wasn't in right. But then again she also FF as soon as they outgrow the infant seat and has no interest in "help" from me so I've given up. But I think lots of folks probably wouldn't realize that the seat wasn't installed right. Luckily, I had gotten rock the car solid installs with my infant seat base so the "play" I had in that one just didn't feel right to me. But at the time I didn't know enough to know what was wrong, just that something was wrong.
