We purposely don't give middle names to our girls. I don't want them to have to completely give up their surname when they get married (unless they really want to). I LOVE that I was able to just make my maiden name in to my middle name when I got married.

This is what we are planning to do too if we ever have girls. I took my maiden name as my middle name when we married.
