When do you get a doula?
I'm almost 9 weeks pregnant and I'm wondering when I should start interviewing doulas? What's the earliest and what's the latest? I'm have to wait til after the holidays so I'll probably be around 12-14 weeks when I get around to it.

Re: When do you get a doula?
it's not too early to start either asking around or looking into websites that list doulas in your area. I always had to interview several before deciding.

Re: When do you get a doula?
never too early. I hired mine at about 16 weeks. She won't start seeing me until January/February, but I had to lock in my due date window.
They won't take too many clients due around the same time for obvious reasons - I think my doula has a 2 week window around the due date or something like that.
