Re: Reflux help

My son is almost 4 and still on Prilosec. He's on 15 mg now and has cobblestoning in his throat from it being uncontrolled while he lived with his bio dad (who reflused to give him his meds). Some kids just don't outgrow it. I'd definitely want back on the meds, but also would ask for blood allergy testing (minimally invasive...just a blood draw). We found out last Christmas that DS is allergic to soy and many other foods, even though he shows no symptoms beyond reflux.

Another thing that helped us was getting the tonsils and adenoids out. It helped him sleep much better. Our GI sent us to an ENT/Allergist group that took one look and took them out. Major difference immediately in the sleep.

Re: Reflux help

Have you tried a chiropractor? I know several people who have had a big improvement in reflux after taking their young child to a chiropractor.
