help! Green poop!

My daughter just had a bm (she's three if it matters) and it was normal looking except it's GREEN! Not all of it, but a lot of it. Kind of gross sorry if TMI, but there were like three pieces; one was large and brown, the other two looked like they were covered in green fuzz or something. I'm wracking my brain and can't think of anything she ate that would make it turn green. No popsicles in the last few days, no jello or anything. She had fruit snacks twice but she eats those all the time and I've never seen green poop before. She has a snotty nose but no fever, no diarhea. Any ideas?

Cookie (or any sweet) with black icing? That'll make it green as well.

I've read green poop is because it passed through the intestines pretty fast and the bile doesn't have a chance to be broken down to its final color (brown). I was wondering about this same thing a couple weeks back

Red blue and black dyes will turn poop smeary green. Its like pooping a rainbow.

Maybe she ate a crayon?

My 3 year old DD has a snotty nose same as yours, and green poop too.

^^ hopefully it's all connected. (The snotty nose and poop I mean). No froot loops, no crayon eating, (I hope). Guess I will just keep an eye on it.

This just happened to us this week too! We went to a penguin themed bday party, complete with black and white frosted cake...next day my kids' poop was like.hunter green! It even stained ds's skin...and I changed his diaper within a minute or so of pooping, but it was a funky color!! Hopefully that's it!
