At what age did you make your child wipe themselves?

DS trained at 2.5 yrs. He's almost 3 now and has been wiping himself for a few months. He started on his own. I supervised at first, but he's pretty good at it. Just gets carried away with the amount of TP on occasion.

You should have him start wiping each time he has a bowel movement, so he can practice. He will get better each time. My 3 year old will wipe her bottom first. Then I will wipe it away.
