Re: eczema back...
Get this stuff called cedafil i think it's called, it is a daily gentle wash, and healed my hand in a few days. I have/had excema on my right hand, knuckles and ring and pinky fingers, it was bad and cracked, itchy, bleeding and just peeling off. I met this lady at Target who told me she suffered from excema and her dr told her about this stuff and she showed it to me I bought it ($9) and it really does work and fast!

Aquaphor Ointment mixed with Neosporin is the only thing that keeps my 1 year olds ear excema at bay. Even then it flares occasionally. Hazelwood necklaces are a LIFESAVER here. I can tell his needs replaced (about every 2-3 months) when his face & ears break out again.

A necklace helps? Where do I get one? How much? I tried the antiitch cream with no luck...but I'll try these suggestions. Keep them coming.

Kate @ inspiredbyfinn on HC sells hazelwood necklaces.
Hydrocortisone cream 2.5 is what my dr gave me for my hand, it is stronger than the stuff you get otc.

So I may have to take her to her doctor to get something to really help?

Re: eczema back...
I went to the dr because I didn't know what it was, it started on my pinky knuckle and then spread and I kept scratching at it and it got infected.
The Dr also gave me bacatracin or something like that which is an antibiotic and had me mix them and apply it to my hand. The rash spread up my ring finger because I kept scratching at it while i slept. It would wake me up being so darn itchy. This cetaphil works great, it doesn't stop the itching but it moisturizes and actually helps keep the itching away. The cetaphil is found where the face washes are at in target, there are two different ones there, and they look the same, but get the one that says gentle skin cleanser.

Re: eczema back...
lavender oil works really well as a topical treatment. Washing with real goat milk soap instead of regular soap is great as well. cetaphil is good, but it still has sulfates and parabens in it that CAN make it worse or just not help- not that it does for everyone, but it also doesnt work all the time.
