It seems that every time I post I subscribe to the thread I post in. How do I stop that from happening? Do I have to choose "Do not subscribe" every time I post? I hope there's a setting in the CP I missed when I looked yesterday.

I checked and you had it set to subscribe with no notification, I went ahead and turned it off.

In your control panel options is where you will see these options~
You had the second option box checked.
Automatic Thread Subscription Mode
Do not subscribe
Subscribe with no notification
Instant email notification
Daily email notification
Weekly email notification
