When I was in CT they see called grinders, the part of queens/LI we were in they were subs, and where I grew up in NY, they are heros. If melted mozzarella cheese is added it's a -- Parmesan hero. Could be chicken, shrimp, meatball, etc. Yummmy!

Sunday: spaghetti and caesar salad for lunch, bacon wrapped crock pot chicken for dinner with asparagus
Monday: leftovers for dinner Tuesday: mushroom covered pork chops with baked sweet potatoes and some veggie for dinner Wednesday: fast option Thursday: leftovers Friday: Mediterranean Mac and cheese with sausage Saturday: taco soup Sunday: leftovers It's incredibly important that we eat all our leftovers this week as we fly out of town the next Monday. I don't always plan lunches in advance. Except Sundays when DH is home and we eat as a family. But I'll be eating a lot of sandwiches this week to get rid of lunchmeat and DD will eat a variety of things including frozen raviolis, fish sticks, pot pies, etc.

I make a monthly meal plan just for dinner. Lunch is always just leftovers or something easy like a sandwich. Here's an example of this week's dinners.
Sunday: burritos Monday: potato soup and homemade bread Tuesday: cheeseburger macaroni Wednesday: bean tostados Thursday: Tofu and veggie stir fry Friday: pizza Saturday: veggie burgers and fries |
