Re: Help me use up plain yogurt..
If you have a dehydrator you could sweeten it with jam and drop it onto leather sheets in the dehydrator. It makes awesome snacks!!!

Re: Help me use up plain yogurt..
You can use it in cooking/baking to substitute for sour cream. Just made a chocolate cake that called for sour cream for moistness and the yogurt worked great!
Also with a ranch dressing mix packet to make ranch dip for fresh veggies or chips. |

DD1 uses it when she has an acne break out.
Our other uses are sour cream substitute, and smoothies. You could also freeze it in the portions you need for your marinade and just thaw it as needed for that recipe.

Re: Help me use up plain yogurt..
We always get plain yogurt b/c that way it can be sweetened how you want it, you can control the sugar, etc. and it doesn't usually have weird ingredients listed. Everyone already said what else we'd do with it.
(Replacement for sour cream, use in baking, tzaziki dip, etc.) My husband and I don't usually like it plain either but it tastes good sweetened with honey or can be ok with fruit. I just made strawberry frozen yogurt also. You could probably also use it for soup instead of cream, etc.

Re: Help me use up plain yogurt..
I always buy those big tubs of plain full-fat yogurt. I flavor it with honey or maple syrup and vanilla. You've gotten lots of great suggestions!

Re: Help me use up plain yogurt..
We use it often for smoothies. If you throw in a banana and frozen fruit of your choice, you really don't need sweetener of any kind. Banana makes it sweet enough
![]() I also love it in quiche. It makes the quiche tangy and delicious! I just used some the other day as a substitute for sour cream in lemon bread.
