I think you are completely fine to let people know what the boundaries are. I also have pushy relatives. I was not clear enough with my first and will definitely be much more straight forward when this one arrives. Both DD and I were very overwhelmed by the amount and frequency of visitors we had. Looking forward to a more peaceful postpartum this time around and I will be as pushy as I have to to get that peace

Am I out of line and my hormones are just blocking my rational thoughts from seeing it? Ugh!!

You're the boss, mama! Our hospital isn't allowing visitors except immediate family so that solves that ha home may be a different story. I don't know what I'll want but I have no problem telling people no.

I WISH I had said this to my family! I love my grandparents and its so sweet that they want to spend time but they were over everyday as soon as I got home! They kept trying to wake the baby up so they could get a picture. Seriously?
