Big families? Negative reactions.

My family was very sincerely happy and just thrilled that our kids would always have someone and because hubby's sis and my own sister are over 4hrs away. Hubby and I have always commented on how lucky my mom and dad are to have brothers and sisters.
Well, we have nearly 3yrs between our kids and we are expecting again. I have no idea how his folks or sister reacted (don't care either) but I am sure it was positive.
Our families have learned the hard way to keep their traps shut if they have nothing other than wonderful to say - I am quick with brutally honest and derogatory retaliatory comments.
