6 bottles and some frozen enough
The hubby surprised me with Tickets to the collage basketball game tonight. Date night Wahoo. Anyway. My daughter is 4 monhts old and will be staying with my parents from about 3pm till tomorrow morning some time. My plan is to feed her right before we leave, about 2:30. My brother wil be doing part of the watching (along with my grandmother) so i really need to give him some times as to when she will want to eat as a guidline. He has a 6 year old so it has been long time. I was thinking that I would tell him between 5 and 5:30 eat, between 8 and 8:30 eat and then to bed, hopefully. And then I am leaving 2 bottles for over night and 2 for the next morning. So 6 total. I have enough pumped milk from this week and this morning. We plan on being back by 10 at the very latest. She has been hit or miss on waking up during the night so those may not be needed. She has been sleeping till 7ish (if she doesn't wake at night) and 8:00is if she does wake. We stayed overnght in a hotel a few weeks ago and she did great and that was all 5 of us in one room. I also thought about sticking in a couple bags of frozen milk JIK.

I would put in more than less if it were me. Many times when babies cry caregivers simply do a bottle first, so she may eat more than normal. I would also bring some frozen in case they run out of fresh.

Re: 6 bottles and some frozen enough
Well doens't matter anyway. My 3 year old woke up pale and extra tired and just puked. I am not going. DH is going to take our almost 6 year old instead. No fun night in a hotel for me.

Bummer. So sorry your night out is replaced with more detailed Momma duties and your LO is sick. That stinks for everyone.

Re: 6 bottles and some frozen enough
Thanks. DH and i were both looking forward to this night out. With his work schedule it rarely happens that he has a random Saturday off.

Re: 6 bottles and some frozen enough
I hear ya. We rarely get a night out too. Hopefully you find a night that will work again soon.
