I have two quickie questions:
One, what do you do when you have a Less-than-full-load of new diapers to prep? Two, here are my specifics: I have 1 doz Organic GMDs, 2 doz wipes, 3 organic workhorse diapers and 1 Goodmama. I have a TL, and the above is definitely LESS than a full load. Can I add the GMDS/Wipes/Workhorses to my regular "cotton" load? NORMALLY, I break my diapers up into 3 loads: 1) Cottons 2) OBV/CV (mostly GMs, but others mixed-in) 3) AIOs/Pockets of mixed fabric Thank you! MrsB |

Re: Mixing Fabrics to Prep? Mix of Questions
I'd add them to a load of towels.
Since you've got all natural fibers, I wouldn't worry at all about washing everything together!

I just prepped a dozen prefolds and a dozen cotton doublers. Some people just wash a couple times but I like them at full absorbency from day one. The first wash I did them alone to remove any manufacturing "gunk" on them. Second wash withy whites. Third with my towels. Fourth with my dirty diapers. Fifth alone again with no detergent to make sure all detergent was rinsed from them. They are fluffy and beautiful and will be on the bum tomorrow
