Fuzzi Bunz snaps (don't snap?)

Hi mamas,
I'm sure this has been covered in this forum but I can't seem to find it.

My cousin just sent me a huge bunch of medium FB's that she used for a brief time. They are in EUC and barely used. But about half of them have snaps that don't seem to "click" into place. They come undone really easily and you never hear the snap noise when you snap them. They are driving me crazy!

I googled FB snap issues and all I can find is the recall for faulty snaps that break or come out of the diaper - NOT for snaps that just don't snap.

Is this a known issue? Is there anything I can do to fix it - apart from getting all snaps replaced?
