I was just picking a feature and using it as an example; the actual Alibaba listings denote which US patent numbers each listed product violates.

Diaper Safari are re branded Alvas with a custom pocket opening. If you are worried about buying stolen prints, buy Alva solids. There are TONS of websites selling Alvas with their label sewn on, and they are the exact same diaper, just more expensive to you. Alva will sew anyone's label on if they buy in quantity, and often these people specify to Alva they want a double pocket opening or colored snaps or something of that nature to try and detract from the fact that they are rebranded Alvas that cost $2.30 each when buying in bulk.

Buying them directly or in a co-op also means the particular diapers that you get are not CPSIA compliant--not tested for safety. If a store is importing them, I presume they are making the necessary edits and carrying out the safety testing to comply with the law, but who knows? In the end, Alva is still getting some of your money and I think that's phooey since they're such an unethical company.

I thought Diaper Safari has said several times that their line is not rebranded Alva?

This..........buying solids doesn't make it okay, it's still supporting this company and honestly, I'm surprised the mods allow the co-op talk here since they company is doing bordline illegal stuff (or actually illegal but it's not possible to do anything about it because the company is in China). Shady. Also, how can they possibly argue they are paying liveable wages, using environmentally friendly manufacturing, tested dyes, etc when the diapers cost $2.30....that's crazy. (Not saying they are arguing this just that it's pretty obviously not happening).

Diaper Safari has come on here several times and said that their pockets are not rebranded alvas. They say they ARE made in China but not Alvas. I just read it in that locked thread from a while back.
