Anyone try FLIP Trainers with other inserts
Flip trainers are the one trainer I didn't look into why looking for a trainer because I didn't need the disposable option and velcroing in the insert seems weird, plus we only need it for nighttime - so is it absorbent enough.
I just today noticed that they go to 50 lbs so it might actually fit my son, we were having issues getting a big enough rise on all the OS fits most trainers even though my son is a very average size 3 year old. He is about 35lbs, 38 inches tall. I was thinking I could sew a suedecloth sleeve to put the bg 4.0 mf and jb hemp insert we use at night. I could also even velcro to it. Think it would work?

Re: Anyone try FLIP Trainers with other inserts
Anyone try the FLIP trainer? It says until 50 lbs but then I've seen pics of it on a 30lbs 3 year old on the largest setting, wondering if it'll actually fit for a while and be any improvement. Was thinking I could try it with a the nighttime inserts wrapped in a suedecloth sleeve or maybe a prefold around a hemp insert.
Anyone have side nighttime leaking with a FLIP trainer?

Re: Anyone try FLIP Trainers with other inserts
I have s pretty chuncky 2 yearold and have it on the 2nd rise snaps so still plenty of room to go. I fold flats up and stick in it and have used it overnight before with no problem.

Re: Anyone try FLIP Trainers with other inserts
It's enormous on my 25Lb almost 2 yo on the smallest settings. She just started this week, so we're not ready to try it at night yet. So far I don't think the inserts are impressively absorbent, but she shouldn't be peeing in them much or at all anyways, so I guess they really don't need to be.
