I voted it varies.
I prefer to shop alone as I get things done quicker/can run more errands than just one or two if Im with kids. I VERY rarely take both the boys...I might as well just take a leisurely stroll than go shopping with them. So when I do take one of them, I tell them its a special Amma and DS1/DS2 time. Yeah. A treat for them so they look forward to it and behave nicely!
