I don't decline but wanted to and should have. Dd still has no immune system despite BFing and I didn't for months afterwards! Good luck mama! Hope they don't give u any trouble. When I was researching it, most ppl said it mean keeping an extra close eye on the baby and an extra day in the hospital for monitoring.

I was positive for strep B, never got the anti-biotic annd my LO never got it. We were discharged from the hospital within 36 hours
