Re: Cloth pads - what do you like best?
Fwiw, she says in one place that it matches bamboo velour attributes such as matching body temperature, staying soft, etc. and in another place indicates that its weave is not as good for handling gushes and thus would not be best for a heavy day pad. That leaves me wondering if it is more like bamboo or more like cotton. But it's intriguing.

Re: Cloth pads - what do you like best?
Favorite top layer : obv
Favorite absorbent layer : hemp Favorite backing: wool interlock Favorite length for liners : 6" Favorite length for day pads : 8" regular, 10" heavy Favorite length for overnight/postpartum : really long...12" maybe, also like hourglass shape (wide on the ends, narrower in the middle where the snaps are) Do you like different options (lots of different fabrics, styles, different absorbecy in all sizes, ect.) or simplicity? (light liners, moderate regular length, heavy long length, all minky or all bamboo, ect.) : I like options, sometimes I need a heavier absorbancy shorter pad, or lighter absorbancy longer pad, depends on flow and activity. Exposed fleece (on the wings, like pampered mama, go with the flo, ect.) or all fabric tops including wings (like tree hugger) : I like single layer wings, although I'm having some trouble with them holding up; so, either is okay as long as they are very durable. What is most important to you assuming they both function well - cuteness, or price?: price, materials (I like natural and organic choices), durability Best of luck!

Re: Cloth pads - what do you like best?
Hbee, I've never seen cotton sherpa tops! Where do you get those? (This is what is dangerous about DS. It's so easy to run after the shiny new thing mentioned, teehee.)
Tazzae, did you see that Go with the Flo has a group co-op coming up on 2/1-2/15. They sound like the perfect company for you if they aren't already your favorite. The savings could go up to 40%, depending on how much everyone buys through the co-op form. You have to like "Lilia Designs/Go with the Flo" on facebook to see the specs .

I was thinking of names for your store. The other day I was telling a friend about my cloth purchase from you. I called you Kelsey's kloset at the time lol just off top of my head. Of maybe Kelsey's kloth play on words with the K from your name. Idk just a couple that popped in my head.

Re: Cloth pads - what do you like best?
Favorite top layer : Flannel, I'm wierd
. Don't like OBV, feels wet/sweaty too me, and never tried minkyFavorite absorbent layer : not sure Favorite backing: Love fleece, hate pul, never tried wool Favorite length for liners : 6 or 7 in Favorite length for day pads :9" Favorite length for overnight/postpartum : haven't tried any yet Do you like different options: Lots of options, as long as they are well explained Exposed fleece (on the wings, like pampered mama, go with the flo, ect.) or all fabric tops including wings (like tree hugger) : Exposed fleece so its trimmer What is most important to you assuming they both function well - cuteness, or price?: a mix of both What attracts you more - low flat rate shipping, or more add on shipping the more you buy (ie, less shipping for a smaller order vs. flat rate) : add on shipping b/c I usually buy in small amounts Wanted to add, especially for liners, hate big round wings, love small tab wings, the extra wings make for extra bulk that isn't needed, especially for liners ! I'd love to test too

Re: Cloth pads - what do you like best?
Wanted to add that i really like hourglass shaped pads, even for medium/regular absorbancy and they are harder to find than they are in heavy absorbancy.

Favorite top layer : minky, followed by obv, followed by cv
Favorite absorbent layer : zorb, followed by microfiber Favorite backing: dense fleece (like Malden mills) followed by wool Favorite length for liners: never paid attention to length, sorry Favorite length for day pads : ditto Favorite length for overnight/postpartum : ditto Do you like different options or simplicity?: I think it would be fantastic to be able to just choose all the options from drop-down menus, but failing that, I prefer simplicity simply so there's not like six million items listed for me to sort through. Exposed fleece or all fabric tops including wings: all fabric. The ones I have with exposed fleece seem to be too stretchy in the wing area and don't stay put well. What is most important to you assuming they both function well - cuteness, or price?: price. It goes on my hooha, it catches blood. Pretty colors are nice but patterns, etc are worthless to me. What attracts you more - low flat rate shipping, or more add on shipping the more you buy? Low flat rate shipping - I am more likely to buy a ton and feel like I won cause the shipping cost divided out by # of items is so low lol Sent from my iPhone using DS Forum
