Aww, that smile is just the sweetest!

DS really started responding and smiling around 4 weeks. DD started furrowing her brow and scowling at me around 2-3 weeks, haha. It took that girl forever to actually smile, and she's still more likely to scowl than smile.

I'm sure it is coming soon! And then those little eyes will light up when he sees you!

My last baby didn't seem to make much eye contact in her first months either. I was getting kind of worried since my first two made eye contact the first day they were born and just stared at me! I even remember wanting to ask the pediatrician at her 2 month appointment. But no worries, she is 8 months old and is fine.

So I think every baby is different. But I do remember holding her and lifting her up, moving her to this side and that so I could try to make eye contact with her, but that rarely happened. It just took time.

But I must say that your little guy is SOOO cute!

Nah...You are the most beautiful lady in the world to him, even if he hasn't figured it out yet. I remember that 5 weeks is when social smiling even starts. It is so rewarding when that lightbulb goes on and you can see them thinking, "There you are!"

I never passed out any pics of my youngest until 3-4 months. All he did was scowl at everyone. We did discover he was having trouble with dairy so that may have been his problem.

6 weeks has been the magic number for me. 6 weeks = social smile. Yay!
