NB diaper pics

Just thought I'd share some pics of my newborn in his diapers. Nicholas is 3 weeks old now and the pics range from birth to 3 weeks. He was 5lbs 15oz at birth and is now 7lbs 9oz. Wish I had better pics but he's not a fan of diaper changes so I had to snap what I could

NB grovia aio - This fit so perfectly at birth. I mostly have the old version with organic cotton. They are unfortunately not that absorbent. They can hold one pee but I can't rely on them overnight. I loved how they went under his cord. Here he is in the hospital in his first cloth diaper. And for the record, the meconium did not stain



XS sposoeasy - our favorite newborn diaper! These are discontinued but I found a huge lot on FSOT when I first found out I was pregnant. I'm so glad we bought these. These also fit at birth (and lowest weight was 5lbs 7oz). They worked well under his cord though I don't think he still had it in this pic. Very absorbent!



I don't have a pic of the fitted underneath but we love Bummis Superbrite covers. They fit perfectly under the cord and over fitteds and orange edge prefolds.


Thirsties duo diaper - I didn't try this one till the cord fell off though it may have worked earlier. Super absorbent! It's kind of bulky but fits so perfectly around his tiny legs. I only have 2 of these and wish I had bought more!



Small bottombumpers - probably my favorite diaper. I have aplix and snaps but the snaps fit better around his legs. Fits so perfectly around the leg - better than most NB diapers! This was taken yesterday so he's a little older in this pic - 7 1/2 pounds and 3 weeks old. They wouldn't have fit under the cord unless you have a really tall baby!



And last....Swaddlebees NB aio. I really wanted to love this diaper but I'm not loving the fit yet. It's pretty loose around the legs though it hasn't leaked. It didn't fit when he had his cord so the snapdown was pretty useless. Maybe if he would've been bigger at birth I would have been a fan. I'm thinking it might fit better once he grows a little

I'm SHOCKED that the small bottom bumpers fit! Maybe I'll add that back into my stash to bring to the hosptital! I just took it out today, thinking it would be too big (and I'm probably having at least a 7.5-8.5lb baby!).

Funny how the swaddlebees looks SO big. I think it's cuz he was SO small. I'm planning on grovia being my first dipe too!!!!

Well the bottombumpers pic was taken yesterday at 3 weeks so he's 7 1/2 pounds in that pic. It probably would fit right away on a 7 or 8lb newbie but might not work with the cord

He's a cutie! Small BB's did not properly fit my girl until around 9lbs but then they fit like a glove for the longest time!

Awesome!! Such precious pictures and good fits!!! We LOVED S Bottombumpers on our newbie last time too! He was under 7lbs and they still fit GREAT!

Wow, either the NB simplex is a huge diaper or that is a tiny baby! Congrats :-)
