I personally would not waste any money on special delivery gowns or hospital clothes. |

I always wore 2 hospital gowns too. I think with this baby I may try to find a robe. We have a really close knit church now and something tells me that I should expect more visitors.

Re: What Do You Wear in the Hospital?
Ok...I think I've decided to just find a robe and wear the gowns they provide. And get some house shoes
I really don't care what I look like, I just figured having a robe to tie up quickly would be convenient for when visitors came.

Re: What Do You Wear in the Hospital?
I have had 3 c-sections. I wear yoga pants, nursing camisoles and over-sized cardigan sweaters. when i get up to walk the halls i wear tennis shoes. I stay at the hospital at least 4 days each birth. I am so uncomfortable in the hospital gowns I have my dh help me change the minute I get to my room.

Re: What Do You Wear in the Hospital?
I just wore a soft nursing bra and the hospital gowns. They had cutouts for nursing. I would wear one the 'right' way, then put another on top backwards so nothing was hanging out.

Re: What Do You Wear in the Hospital?
1st L&D I wore a nursing cami only until my c/s and I have no clue what I wore in surgery or after or even for the next few days - no memory of that at all
2nd L&D I wore an above the knee spaghetti strapped dress during labor and delivery and wore PJ pants and nursing tanks & tee shirts postpartum in the hospital This time we are planning a hospital waterbirth so probably just a bikini top and probably a 'swim skirt' type bottom without the attached biniki bottoms for labor and maybe even delivery and then whatever is comfy postpartum

Re: What Do You Wear in the Hospital?
with my first, I wore the hospital gown until discharge.
with my second, I took a nursing tank and my own black (maternity) lounge pants - love that combo! will do the same with this one.

Re: What Do You Wear in the Hospital?
hospital gown was best for me because of all the bleeding. putting real clothes on when going home was always sort of annoying and uncomfortable for me LOL
